Job description

The Erosion Company (TEC) is currently hiring Drivers. TEC is the largest and most experienced contractor in providing comprehensive erosion control services, specialty materials, forestry, and other site clean-up services to clients throughout the Southeast. TEC offers excellent pay based on experience and great long-term career potential for top performers!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Drive a company vehicle with a 2-3 person crew.
  • Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among crew members.
  • Load and unload materials as needed.
  • Remove, fill, compact, and prepare the terrain.
  • Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets using a variety of hand tools.
  • Perform site clean-up and reload leftover materials after the job assignment is complete.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid drivers' license and three years verifiable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Must pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen.
  • Ability to understand/follow directions and take instructions in English.
  • Physically able to walk, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Work under inclement weather conditions such as rain, heat, and cold.
  • Must have prior work experience as a driver.
  • Must have prior experience in operating small machinery such as Bobcat and other excavating equipment.
  • Prior experience driving ยฝ or ยพ ton trucks, with a 20+ foot trailer attached, fully loaded.
  • Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
