What is a crew cashier?

Crew cashiers are employees responsible for processing customer transactions at the checkout counter in retail or food service establishments. They handle cash, credit, and debit payments, issue receipts, and provide customer service. In addition to operating the cash register, crew cashiers may also assist with stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness, and helping customers with questions or concerns. Their role is essential for ensuring efficient and accurate sales transactions and contributing to a positive customer experience.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a crew cashier?

To thrive as a Crew Cashier, you need basic math skills, attention to detail, and usually a high school diploma or equivalent.
