Job description


  • Work on a team executing integration efforts in the Modeling, Simulation, and Training environment at the Virtual Test and Training Center supporting the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center Joint Simulation Environment team

  • Support mission-critical A/V infrastructure within a secure government environment

  • Apply knowledge of DSPs, microphones, speakers, LED wall displays, video conferencing platforms, and Crestron, Extron, and QSC control systems

  • Perform end-to-end signal flow diagnostics and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and repeat visits

  • Support live events, briefings, town halls, and operational test scenarios

  • Maintain and support A/V-over-IP deployments including Evertz and Dante across multicast and VLAN-isolated networks

  • Use networking concepts and tools, including IP addressing, CLI environments, SSH, FTP, serial via Putty, and Remote Desktop tools, for diagnostics and control

  • Communicate technical issues clearly to users and leadership

  • Maintain and update system configurations, diagrams, and asset inventories

  • Implement best practices and follow DoD cybersecurity information assurance policies and procedures


Requirements

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience

  • Prior experience or certification in Evertz environments, particularly MMA10G-based architectures, including TRS4k-2U, Magnum, EXE, and 7800 frame environments

  • Meet DoD 8140 baseline IA Technical qualifications or higher

  • Familiarity with signal routing and timing in mixed digital environments

  • Hands-on experience configuring and deploying Dante-enabled devices

  • Knowledge of secure hardware integration practices in compartmentalized networks and SCIF environments

  • Active Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI

  • US Citizenship

  • Preferred: active TS/SCI clearance

  • Preferred: SAP/SAR experience

  • Preferred certifications: Evertz MMA10G or equivalent OEM training; Dante Level I or higher; Crestron/Extron Certified Programmer or Installer; CompTIA Security+; AVIXA CTS certification
