About Cresset

Our purpose is to help ensure that both wealth and life are fully optimized—integrated, intentional, and aligned with each client’s vision of success.

We provide access to the caliber of talent, ideas, and investment opportunities typically available to the largest single-family offices and institutions. Our approach is personalized, entrepreneurial, and client-first.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate, Private Wealth Client Services to support a collaborative team of

  • Manage ongoing account maintenance (e.g., ownership changes, beneficiary updates, trust accounts, and related requests)
  • Coordinate cash movements, distributions, and other transactions with custodians and banking partners
  • Maintain accurate client records in Salesforce and support reporting needs
  • Organize and manage client documentation, including tax and legal materials
  • Partner with internal and external professionals (e.g., CPAs, attorneys) to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Assist advisors with meeting preparation, follow-ups, and ad hoc client requests

What Sets This Role Apart

  • Direct exposure to experienced advisors and sophisticated client situations
  • Opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of portfolio management, planning, and client relationships
  • A clear path to take on increasing responsibility over time, based on performance and initiative

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, ideally supporting high-net-worth clients
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and client service orientation
  • Clear communicator with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a willingness to take ownership and solve problems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce, Addepar, or custodial platforms is a plus

Who You Are

  • A utility player who thrives in a team environment
  • Naturally organized and proactive
  • Calm under pressure and responsive to client needs
  • Interested in building long-term career in wealth management
