What We Are Looking For:
The Technical Trainer I is responsible for the effective delivery of all KeyStone Core Software technical training courses to Corelation clients and vendor partners. This role involves developing, designing, coordinating, maintaining, and deploying training materials and curriculum to educate, train, and assist clients in maximizing their use of KeyStone Core Software. Specializing in technical development, the position ensures clients and partners enhance their overall experience and performance through high-quality training.
Requirements
  • Instruct and Support: Provide guidance and technical training to clients, vendors, and internal staff on SQL coding, Jaspersoft Reports, Batch/UI Scripting (JavaScript/Java), KeyBridge API development and integration, Ad Hoc reporting, and KeyStone Server/Database Administration.
  • Maintain Expertise: Develop and maintain an advanced understanding of Corelation's KeyStone platform and keep up-to-date with system enhancements and changes.
  • Analyze Training Needs: Assess client needs to identify training gaps, enhance current courseware, and develop new technical training courses.
  • Course Delivery: Lead scheduled public and private courses and be available to occasionally travel across the US to deliver custom, on-site training as needed.
  • Curriculum Oversight: Assist with the creation and maintenance of the KeyStone platform curriculum and eLearning materials, ensuring content is accurate and relevant to current software releases.
  • Administrative Support: Manage course registrations, student communication, and updates in a timely manner; perform weekly administrative tasks consistently.
  • Training Quality: Ensure that training materials reflect the latest software features and provide clear instruction in both classroom and virtual environments.
  • Course Logistics: Assist in scheduling, registration, learning environment setup, and tracking attendance in coordination with the department supervisor.
  • Other Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience
  • 2-4 years' experience in one or more of the following:
  • Adult education in a technical capacity
  • Technical training
  • Experience in financial institutions (preferably credit unions)
  • Corelation Inc. or similar software companies
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, SQL, or similar programming languages (C# or Python)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and/or conduct training across different time zones as needed
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), with the ability to adapt teaching materials and approaches as needed
  • In-depth knowledge of software development processes, database architecture, and technical procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to navigate shifting priorities and learn on the job while maintaining organization
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and resolve classroom or technical issues promptly
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience is desired.
