Branch ManagerPosition Summary

As a Branch Manager, you will play a key leadership role in creating an exceptional member experience while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success of the branch, including team leadership, operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and community engagement. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who is passionate about developing people, building relationships, driving growth, and making a meaningful impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

o Lead by example, demonstrating Allegius Credit Union's values and commitment to service excellence.

o Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging work environment where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.

o Recruit, interview, and select talented team members in partnership with Human Resources.

o Coach, mentor, and develop employees through regular feedback, performance conversations, and career development opportunities.

o Conduct performance evaluations and recognize achievements while supporting continuous improvement.

o Create and manage branch staffing schedules to ensure excellent member service and operational effectiveness.

o Approve employee timecards, schedules, and leave requests in accordance with company policies and collective bargaining agreements.

o Address employee concerns promptly and professionally to maintain a positive workplace culture.

o Support other branch locations and collaborate across teams when needed.

o Promote ongoing learning and professional growth through training, cross-training, and development opportunities.

Operations & Compliance

o Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and outstanding member service.

o Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, NCUA requirements, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards, and internal policies.

o Partner with auditors, compliance teams, and staff to maintain strong internal controls and operational integrity.

o Ensure adherence to collective bargaining agreements and organizational policies.

o Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen the member experience.

o Collaborate with leaders throughout the organization to implement best practices and operational improvements.

Branch Performance & Growth

o Monitor branch performance metrics, including lending activity, new accounts, member engagement, service quality, operational accuracy, and business development goals.

o Analyze performance data and identify opportunities to improve individual, team, and branch results.

o Champion a member-focused approach to relationship building by helping employees identify solutions that meet members' financial needs.

o Develop and implement strategies that encourage sustainable branch growth and deepen community impact.

o Support employees and members in resolving complex account, service, and operational matters.

o Encourage a consultative service culture that balances excellent member care with responsible business growth.

Security & Risk Management

o Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming branch environment for employees and members.

o Monitor branch security procedures and recommend improvements when appropriate.

o Partner with the Director of Branch Operations to ensure security practices remain effective and current.

o Ensure employees receive ongoing training related to security, fraud prevention, emergency response, and robbery procedures.

o Address facility and operational concerns in accordance with established procedures.

Community Engagement

o Serve as an ambassador for Allegius Credit Union by building relationships within the communities we serve.

o Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and local initiatives that support the credit union's mission and growth.

o Promote financial wellness, member education, and awareness of Allegius Credit Union's products and services.

o Develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners.

Professional Development

o Maintain a strong understanding of branch operations, products, services, and regulatory requirements.

o Pursue ongoing learning and development opportunities to strengthen leadership and professional skills.

o Participate in company committees, special projects, and organizational initiatives as assigned.

o Share knowledge and best practices to support the success of colleagues and the organization.

Requirements:
