We are looking for an Advisor, Commercial Credit to join our Credit Risk team and play a key role in the evaluation, monitoring, and management of our commercial loan portfolio. If you are passionate about financial analysis, credit underwriting, and working closely with commercial banking professionals to support complex lending decisions, this opportunity is for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Evaluate and underwrite commercial credit requests for new and existing clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums and recommendations supported by sound financial analysis.
  • Conduct annual credit reviews and ongoing assessments of borrower performance and risk ratings.
  • Review financial statements, spread financial information, and assess repayment capacity.
  • Monitor loan covenant compliance and identify emerging credit risks.
  • Participate in Credit Committee meetings and present recommendations on credit facilities.
  • Partner with Commercial Banking teams to maintain a high-quality loan portfolio.
  • Proactively identify trends, concerns, and opportunities to mitigate portfolio risk.
  • Monitor loan maturities and support timely renewals and portfolio maintenance.
  • Perform customer visits and site inspections as part of the credit evaluation process.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial credit, credit analysis, lending, or a related banking function.
  • Experience supporting commercial, corporate, or institutional banking relationships is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial banking products and financial statement analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess credit risk and make sound underwriting recommendations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex financial information clearly and confidently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Language Requirements
