IT Coordinator

Full-Time | $28.00 – $32.00/hour based on experience, eligible for annual Bonus.

About the Role

The IT Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of Information Technology initiatives across the Credit Union. Acting as a vital bridge between internal business units and external tech vendors, you will play a critical role in project rollouts, vendor relationship management, and third-party risk management. This role is perfect for a highly organized communicator who enjoys building collaborative relationships, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and ensuring technology solutions support our member service goals.  

What You'll Do:  

Project Coordination & Implementation 

  • -Rollout Coordination: Track project milestones, manage dependencies, and coordinate internal resources to ensure timely project delivery. 
  • -Testing Oversight: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), pilot programs, and deployment readiness activities to ensure security and operational stability. 
  • -Tracking & Documentation: Maintain complete, audit-ready project documentation including timelines, risk registers, and post-implementation reviews. 

Communication & Team Support  

  • -Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate smooth communication regarding system changes, outages, and implementation updates across IT teams and business units. 
  • -Compliance & Audit Support: Assist with internal audits and federal regulatory examinations by tracking remediation efforts. 
  • -IT & Community Engagement: Support the IT team during major system upgrades (including occasional after-hours support) and actively participate in TEG's community events. 

Vendor Management & Due Diligence 

  • -Relationship Management: Serve as the primary liaison for third-party technology providers, monitor SLA performance, and resolve vendor-related issues. 
  • -Risk Management: Coordinate vendor due diligence reviews, evaluate security certifications (SOC reports, financial records), and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. 
  • -Evaluation & Selection: Support the evaluation of new technology providers by coordinating RFPs and conducting cost-benefit analyses. 

What We're Looking For:  

Qualifications 

  • -Minimum of 2 years in Information Technology, alongside 2 years of direct experience in IT coordination, project management, or vendor management.  
  • -Experience working within a financial institution, credit union, or heavily regulated environment is highly preferred. 
  • -Associate’s degree, specialized technical certification, professional licensing, or equivalent practical work experience. 
  • -Proficiency with project management tools, methodologies, and risk registers. 
  • -Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud-based platforms, and cybersecurity principles. 
  • -Ability to review and interpret technical contracts, SLAs, and compliance requirements. 
  • -Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
