Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Data Analytics Manager to lead Financial Data Management, a team responsible for trusted financial, regulatory, and risk-adjusted profitability data. This Data Analytics Manager will own the strategy, delivery, modernization, and reliable operation of critical data products supporting regulatory reporting, liquidity and balance-sheet management, enterprise profitability, incentive compensation, expense and capital allocation, and other Finance capabilities.
The Data Analytics Manager will combine people leadership, financial-domain knowledge, data analytics engineering experience, and disciplined risk management. The role requires understanding the business meaning of financial data, not merely its technical implementation.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop data analysts, analytics engineers, and technical leads.
  • Own financial data products supporting regulatory reporting, profitability/EPM, incentive compensation, expense allocation, and more.
  • Partner with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, and technology stakeholders.
  • Translate financial requirements into reliable, governed data solutions.
  • Modernize legacy pipelines while maintaining stability and controls.
  • Manage priorities across operations, regulatory commitments, modernization, and business demand.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in data management, engineering, analytics, or financial systems. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
  • Experience leading technical teams and business-critical data products.
  • Strong SQL, data engineering, modeling, testing, and production-support skills.
  • Exceptional ability to translate financial concepts into technical solutions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Banking, financial data, Databricks, Python, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, dbt, and enterprise data governance experience preferred.

Location:
This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center - 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047
