1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

Reports directly to Corporate IATF Systems Leadership and maintains a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Quality Manager.


2 PURPOSE


2.1 Function


2.1.1 Provide support to Quality Department by collecting, organizing, and generating reports from various inspection and manufacturing process data, customer complaints, Internal QMS, ISO/IATF Audits; and maintaining historical records of same.


2.1.2 Function as a Lead Auditor and support the Corporate IATF Quality Systems Engineer.


2.2 Authority


2.2.1 Ensure organization and format of related data and distribution of assigned reports.


3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


3.1 Quality Management System Maintenance; Administration of the Document Control System ensuring that all documentation and data are controlled in accordance with the Document Control Procedure


3.2 Data entry, RMA/applied credit, problem solving/corrective action, charts, and reporting.


3.3 IATF 16949 Lead Internal Auditor; Lead and support compliance of the Quality System to IATF 1649 Standard; ensure proper completion of internal audits, follow-up, and verification of implemented actions are complete and effective.


3.4 Assist and coordinate audit activities with the Corporate IATF Quality Systems Engineer and Quality Manager.


3.5 Coordinate and support IATF 1649 development of any countermeasures to ensure compliance of IATF findings and/or corrective actions.


3.6 Initiate corrective action activities for internal audit nonconformances, and opportunities for improvement, to enhance the Quality System.


3.7 Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist with supplier audits as needed. Assist in training/guidance to other auditors.


3.8 Maintaining Quality Communication and Files:


3.8.1 Quality communication and internal correspondence of quality

3.8.2 Customer Complaint Log Maintenance


3.8.3 Monitor and review Material Specifications, Customer Specific


Requirements, Customer Quality manuals


3.8.4 Defect History


3.8.5 Administration of Corrective Action system; issue, distribution, log


upkeep, tracking to completion, charts, reports.


3.8.6 Administration and maintenance of (IATF & CQI) schedules to ensure compliance.


3.8.7 Administration of nonconforming product (NCMT) tags, tracking, and log upkeep


3.8.8. Administration of Process Change Request (PCR) tracking and log upkeep.


3.8.9. Administration of Material Review Board (MRB) log entries and upkeep, tracking of issues, initiate corrective actions as applicable. 3.8.10. Assist and support Evening Market activities; boards upkeep, charts, and log entries.


3.8.11 Data entry to support systems; Plex, and other software where applicable.


3.9 Reports:


3.9.1 Monthly (customer and supplier) status reports/scorecards.


3.9.2 Monthly outgoing quality; EM board updates.


3.9.3 Assist Quality Manager with Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reports as


needed.


3.9.4 Other special projects and reports as assigned.


3.9.5 Maintaining all system documents encompassing quality,


manufacturing, facilities, and environmental requirements.


4 MEASUREMENTS/COMPETENCIES


4.1 Organization of responsible areas.


4.2 Accuracy of reports, documentation completion, verification of CA effectiveness.


4.3 Timeliness; Ability to handle multiple tasks without loss of efficiency or control.


4.4 Communication.


4.5 Performance in areas of responsibility (including Internal Audit performance).


4.6 Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge and understanding of the QMS System and documents related to this position (i.e., Policies, Manuals, Standards, Procedures, Work Instructions, Process Flows)


Accomplishment of set goals, as provided by the IATF Systems Quality Engineer and Quality Manager.

5 SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


6 WORK ENVIRONMENT


This job operates in a professional environment, as well as a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. This role also is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.


7 QUALIFICATIONS


7.1 High School diploma or equivalent.


7.2 Two years' experience in office environment, preferably manufacturing

facility.


7.3 Working knowledge of Quality Systems, including development and implementation.


7.4 Strong working knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standard requirements.


7.5 Experienced in system audits. Ability to support and lead an internal auditing program that will achieve compliance with established IATF requirements through an effective QMS system.


7.6 IATF 16949 Internal Auditor Certification; Lead Auditor Certification preferred.


7.7 Problem solving/use of core tools.


7.8 Strong computer skills; Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word,

Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).


7.9 Ability to present data/charts effectively.


7.10 Strong organizational skills.


7.11 Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.


7.12 Self-motivated, good attendance and work ethic.


8 PHYSICAL DEMANDS

8.1 Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


8.2 Must be able to lift 32 pounds at times.


8.3 Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's

facilities.


9 POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK-This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. This position may require extended hours and possible weekend work.


10 TRAVEL


Travel to Hopkinsville, vendor and customer worksites may be required.
