Job description

About the Opportunity:
IDT's Retail division is looking for an energetic, hybrid Retail Account Manager (RAM). In this role, you won't just manage a route-you will be a growth partner for small businesses. You will drive revenue by selling our flagship National Retail Solutions (NRS) portfolio-including Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, credit card merchant services, and cash advances-while simultaneously managing and expanding our traditional telecom and financial services products (Boss Revolution) within your territory.
This role balances the thrill of direct, consultative sales with the stability of consistent account management.
In this role, you will:
  • Drive NRS Product Sales: Prospect, pitch, and close sales for NRS Point-of-Sale (POS) devices, Merchant Services, and Cash Advances to new and existing retail accounts.
  • Manage an Assigned Route: Develop and execute a weekly cycle to visit retail stores on a regular basis, ensuring high customer satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Open New Retail Doors: Actively prospect and go door-to-door to expand IDT and NRS presence in your territory.
  • Onboard & Support Customers: Drive the merchant application process, help store owners understand how to use our services effectively, and provide light troubleshooting/tech support on equipment.
  • Handle Operations & Inventory: Manage sales, cash/payment collections, and telecom card inventory using IDT's accounting system.

What we are looking for:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in retail sales, outside sales, or customer-facing roles. Prior exposure to Merchant Services, POS implementation, or route sales is a major plus.
  • Language: Bilingual professionals with fluency in both English and Spanish are highly preferred to support our diverse customer base.
  • Mobility: Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable car, and a willingness to travel door-to-door within your assigned territory daily.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using basic MS Office, CRM tools, tablets, and Bluetooth equipment.
  • Traits: A resilient "people person" with sharp attention to detail, strong presentation skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

We offer you:
  • Competitive Base Salary + uncapped commission structure.
  • Comprehensive mileage and gas reimbursement program.
  • Paid on-the-job training on both NRS tech products and IDT telecom services.
  • Excellent benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k with employer match, and PTO).

$31,200 - $31,200 a year
Company: IDT Corporation / National Retail Solutions (NRS) Location: [Insert Territory/Location] Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Commissions + Mileage/Gas Reimbursement & Full Benefits
