Job description

Role: QA Lead (Card domain)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite 4 days per week) (Need Locals)

Duration: 6 Months +

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Lead QA Engineer with extensive experience in manual testing and deep knowledge of the Card domain (Credit Card and Debit Card). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the FIS or TSYS space, and will function almost like a product owner as well.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Lead and manage the QA testing process for card-related projects.
Perform manual testing to ensure the quality and functionality of card systems.
Collaborate closely with product owners and development teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
Provide leadership and guidance to junior QA team members.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role in the card domain.
Strong knowledge of Credit Card and Debit Card systems.
Experience with FIS or TSYS platforms is highly advantageous.
Excellent manual testing skills.
Ability to work on-site in downtown Phoenix, AZ Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks.
Experience in a product owner role or similar capacity.
