Associate Attorney Needed - Timeshare Cancellation Firm

Washington, DC โ€ข On-site

This job post hasย expired 1 day ago.ย Applications are no longer accepted.

Job description

We are hiring an attorney to help consumers exit unfair timeshare contracts.

This is not a volume sales shop. We represent owners who were sold perpetual obligations they cannot use, cannot resell, and cannot afford. The work is contract review, consumer-protection analysis, and direct negotiation with resorts, lenders, and card issuers.

Responsibilities

Conduct phone consultations and assess whether a client has a viable path out of the contract

Review purchase documents, financing agreements, and related records

Draft demand letters, notices, and other legal correspondence

Negotiate cancellations, deed-backs, and related resolutions with resorts, banks, and credit card companies (having experience winning credit card disputes for consumers is a major plus)

Manage a caseload from intake through resolution and keep clients informed

Requirements

Active law license in good standing in both the District of Columbia and Florida

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Comfort with client-facing work and direct negotiation

Interest in consumer protection and contract disputes (timeshare experience is a plus, not required)

If you are licensed in D.C. and Florida and want work that is concrete, client-facing, and focused on getting people out of bad deals, we want to hear from you.
