Job description

Job Summary: 

This position performs accurate cash transactions, identifies member needs, and recommends appropriate credit union services. The ideal candidate will provide high quality service in a consistent, courteous, and professional manner. In addition, the MSR position:

· Professionally and courteously handles member inquiries and provides resolution to problems via the telephone, in-person, or virtually as appropriate.

· Performs the processing of a variety of member transactions accurately and effectively in adherence with credit union policies and procedures.

· Fulfills account maintenance requests such as check order processing, gift card sales, credit card payments, coin deposits, online banking assistance, etc.

· Accurately processes the account lifecycle using proper forms and disclosures; enters and maintains member account records in core system, including addition of account owners, name and contact information; CD purchases, inactive account processing, etc.

· Responsible for maintaining frontline compliance knowledge of and procedures for Bank Secrecy Act, Reg CC, Reg E, and any other regulatory requirement applicable to branch teller operations.

· Takes responsibility for observance of all security measures: cash, privacy of member information, building, dual control, etc.

· Other related duties as assigned
