The Credentialing Associate processes credentialing and re-credentialing files in accordance with Company and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and accrediting organization standards.

How you will make an impact:

  • Assures the confidentiality and integrity of all aspects of the credentialing program and process including communication of information regarding participating providers to Medical Directors, Credentials Committee and other internal departments, as well as database management, provider relations and contracting.

  • May be utilized within the Credentialing Database Operations unit or the Credentialing Policy Committee unit to support the company's entire credentialing process.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of office experience in a health care environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Strong attention to detail capabilities preferred.
