Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor entry points, manage badges and visitor access, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible to help to deter incidents, deliver exceptional customer service and communication, and work with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related issues as conditions at the location may vary.
  • Support front lobby and reception area operations as assigned by assisting with visitor processing, maintaining access logs, and communicating clearly with staff regarding security-related procedures and access requests.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
