What does a creator manager do?

A Creator Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting content creators, such as influencers or artists, to help them grow their brand and manage collaborations. They act as a liaison between creators and brands, negotiating deals, handling contracts, and ensuring that campaigns run smoothly. Creator Managers also provide strategic advice to creators on content, audience engagement, and monetization opportunities, ensuring creators reach their professional goals.

How does a creator manager typically collaborate with content creators to ensure successful campaigns?

As a Creator Manager, you will work closely with content creators to align campaign goals, provide creative direction, and manage deliverables. This involves regular communication to clarify expectations, review content drafts, and offer constructive feedback. You'll also coordinate with internal marketing, legal, and analytics teams to ensure brand guidelines are met and performance is tracked. Effective collaboration requires strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and an understanding of both brand objectives and creator workflows.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a creator manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Creator Manager, you need a solid understanding of influencer marketing, digital content trends, and relationship management, often supported by a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with CRM tools, social media analytics platforms, and influencer marketing software like CreatorIQ or Aspire is typically required. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills help you build strong partnerships and manage multiple creator campaigns effectively. These skills are crucial for successfully growing creator programs, maximizing campaign ROI, and maintaining productive relationships within the fast-paced digital landscape.

Job description

About Solvable

Solvable is rebuilding how Americans discover, evaluate, and access insurance.

We help consumers lower their auto and home insurance premiums without sacrificing coverage or service. Under the hood, we are building an AI-first marketplace powered by conversational agents, agentic marketing systems, predictive intelligence, and real-time lead routing.

Weโ€™ve already helped millions of consumers save money. Now weโ€™re scaling aggressively and investing in creators and influencers as a core competitive advantage.

Why This Role Now

Weโ€™re hiring a Creator Manager to own our influencer program end to end recruiting creators, managing them through production, and coaching them to make content sharp enough to run as paid ads. Every piece of content you help produce needs to convert as a whitelisted or Partnership Ad.

  • This is not a talent-relations role.
  • This is not a content-calendar function.

This is a performance role. Youโ€™ll sit between creator sourcing, creative direction, and our paid media team and youโ€™ll know youโ€™re doing it right when creatorsโ€™ content gets sharper because they worked with you.

Your Impact

You will own Solvableโ€™s creator program across four core domains:

1. Creator Sourcing & Lifecycle Ownership

  • Source and recruit creators at volume, prioritizing niches that fit our audience
  • Own the full creator lifecycle: outreach, selection, contracting, production, review, and offboarding
  • Negotiate rates and timelines directly and with talent managers

2. Creative Coaching & Content Quality

  • Coach creators with direct, specific feedback so their content converts on the first cut
  • Review content for hook strength, clarity, and paid ad viability
  • Build a track record of creators whose content gets stronger because they worked with you

3. Whitelisting, Compliance & Paid Enablement

  • Set up and manage whitelisting, including TikTok Spark Codes and Meta Partnership Ad permissions
  • Manage FTC disclosure and compliance across all creator content
  • Keep creator tracking clean and hand off finished assets to the paid media team

4. Program Systems & Payments

  • Manage creator payments once deliverables are complete
  • Build systems that raise the program: smarter sourcing, reusable briefs, and a feedback loop with paid on whatโ€™s winning

Responsibilities

  • Sit between creator sourcing, creative direction, and paid media translating whatโ€™s converting into sourcing priorities and creator briefs
  • Move creators from outreach to live, paid-ready assets without dropped handoffs
  • Maintain clean, current creator tracking that the paid media team can rely on
  • Process creator payments promptly once deliverables are approved
  • Flag compliance risk โ€” FTC disclosure, platform terms before it becomes a paid media problem

What Weโ€™re Looking For

Experience & Track Record

  • 3+ years running influencer or creator programs with Financial or Insurance Services, with paid-social experience โ€” not just organic
  • A track record of coaching creators to stronger content
  • Experience with an influencer management platform such as Upfluence, CreatorIQ, or similar
  • The organization to run a high-volume pipeline without dropping handoffs
  • Comfort negotiating rates and managing creator relationships and talent managers directly

Platform & Paid Fluency (Non-Negotiable)

  • Hands-on knowledge of TikTok Spark Codes and Meta Partnership Ads
  • Strong creative judgment you know a scroll-stopping hook when you see one
  • Every piece of content you help produce needs to convert as a whitelisted or Partnership Ad

Competitive Compensation & Upside:

  • Base Salary: $100,000 โ€“ $120,000 + performance-based bonus

Perks:

  • Benefits: Full health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement plan with match
  • Culture: Builder-led, low-ego, high-ownership environment
  • Your work directly shapes Solvableโ€™s creator program and its contribution to paid performance

Weโ€™re an equal opportunity employer.
