About the Role
Reports to: Head of Creator Partnerships
We're looking for a Creator Manager to join our growing team. You live and breathe the creator world, love building relationships, and thrive as a trusted sounding board. You'll help creators think big about their growth and be the person they call when they land a big opportunity or need help getting unstuck.
You'll manage your own roster and lead the charge on bringing new creators into the Smooth fold. This is a high-impact, external-facing role for someone who's ready to take ownership. You've got a sharp eye for talent, a bias toward action, and a genuine love for helping creators grow.
This role sits on the Creator Partnerships team, working closely with Creator Partnerships Managers and our Brand Partnerships team to deliver great outcomes for the creators you manage.
What you'll do
  • Manage creator relationships act as a strategic partner to a roster of Smooth creators, helping them grow and manage their businesses
  • Collaborate cross-functionally work closely with our Brand Partnerships teams to strategically and tactically execute brand campaigns with the creators you manage
  • Lead creator acquisition identify and onboard new creators who align with Smooth's values and thesis
  • Spot growth opportunities from new channels to live events, you'll help creators take a strategic approach to where and how they grow their businesses
  • Represent Smooth you'll be in external comms regularly, so you'll need to communicate clearly and professionally

What we're looking for
  • You have 4+ years of relevant experience creator management is great, but we're open to folks from partnerships, talent, strategy, media, or account management backgrounds
  • You're a relationship-builder you thrive on communication, trust, and helping others succeed
  • You're proactive and organized you know how to juggle a lot and still hit your deadlines
  • You care about quality from writing a tight email to pitching a complex deal, you take pride in doing things well
  • Based in NYC or open to being in NYC (our team is in-office Mon-Thurs)

What we can offer
  • Base salary: $75,000
  • On-target earnings: $100,000 in Year 1, $150,000 in Year 2, $200,000 in Year 3 (your earning potential grows directly with the success of your creators)
  • Annual creator signing bonus: $5,000 for every 5 creators you bring to Smooth each year, up to $15,000 annually
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unlimited PTO (mandatory 10 days per year minimum)
  • A meaningful stake in the growth of a profitable, bootstrapped company
