Job Title: Marketing Content Seasonal Support                           Department: Marketing & Communications

Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly / Seasonal                          Reports to: Global Marketing Director

Location: Yakima, WA / On-site during hop harvest

Duration: Seasonal, approximately 6 weeks

About the Role:

Yakima Chief Hops (YCH) is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Content Seasonal Support team member to help the Marketing & Communications team during one of the most exciting times of year: hop harvest.

This seasonal role will support day-to-day content needs across website, email marketing, creative assets, and social media. The ideal candidate is organized, curious, creative, brand focused and excited to help bring hop stories to life across digital channels.

This is a great opportunity for a marketing, communications, digital media, journalism, or creative student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience supporting brand storytelling, content production, and digital marketing.

What You’ll Do:

  •  Enter and update content in the website CMS, including landing pages, event pages, blog posts, product or campaign pages, image assets, links, metadata, and basic formatting.
  • Support cross-functional service requests to marketing department
  • Help build, format, and proofread email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, updates, and promotional communications.
  • Assist Communications Manager with social media content, including light content creation and copywriting as directed.
  • Support community management by helping respond to comments, messages, tags, and mentions in a timely, brand-appropriate way, escalating questions or issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with a creative, passionate and supportive team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  •  Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  •  Basic understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Interest or experience with email marketing platforms, CMS tools, and/or basic digital publishing workflows.
  • Comfortable working independently, asking questions, taking direction, and shifting priorities in a fast-moving seasonal environment.
  • Creative mindset with an interest in brand storytelling, agriculture, craft beer, digital marketing, and community engagement.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social scheduling tools, or basic photo/video editing is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site in Yakima, WA during the hop harvest season; schedule may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or event support depending on content needs.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to off-site production facilities and/or farms
