Job description

About Us

Weโ€™re the team behind KitBash3D, Greyscalegorilla, ArtStation, and Sketchfab, united to amplify creativity.

Our creative ecosystem gives artists and studios across film, games, motion design, VFX, and digital media access to connected tools, assets, platforms, and communities. Together, our products help creators discover inspiration, build their ideas, develop their skills, find opportunities, and share their work with the world.

We are building an ecosystem that supports digital creators at every step of their journey from inspiration to finished work, making it easier to learn, build, collaborate, and showcase.

Weโ€™re at an exciting stage of growth, bringing together passionate people across technology, design, marketing, and storytelling to shape the future of 3D creation. Weโ€™d love for you to be part of it.

About the Role

Weโ€™re seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to own the execution, optimization, and measurement of paid acquisition across the KitBash portfolio.

This is a hands-on role for a performance marketer who loves digging into data, finding opportunities, testing ideas, and turning insights into growth. Youโ€™ll manage campaigns across Meta, Google, Microsoft, and shopping channels while continuously improving how we acquire, convert, and retain customers.

Youโ€™ll work closely with Marketing, Creative Content, Technical, and Product teams to connect media performance with the broader customer journey, from first impression through conversion and beyond.

Your primary focus is aligning paid media execution with our portfolio-wide strategy: optimizing for annual subscriber acquisition and long-term customer lifetime value over short-term transactional motions. You'll build and run an efficient performance marketing engine across Meta, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and shopping channels. Success means executing disciplined campaigns, running systematic creative tests, and delivering clear, actionable data that gives leadership an understanding of what is working and why.

Location: This position can be remote or hybrid and is open to candidates based in OR, WA, CA, FL, TX, IL, IN, MI, FL, SC, NC, TN. Local candidates have the option to work out of our office located in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities
  • Run the campaigns: Own end-to-end campaign setup, targeting, bidding, creative trafficking, and daily budget pacing across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and Google Shopping feeds.
  • Watch the numbers daily: Monitor campaign metrics every day to catch performance anomalies early, optimize pacing, and drive improvements across CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, and customer value.
  • Partner on creative: Coordinate intake of ad assets, write clear creative briefs, maintain brand standards, and make sure all assets meet platform policies before launching.
  • Run the tests: Build and execute structured A/B and audience experiments, track results, share key performance learnings and implement changes to optimize future ads.
  • Maintain the dashboards: Refine and update weekly performance trackers to give leadership clear visibility into spend, acquisition, revenue, ROAS, CAC, CPA, CTR, and CVR.
  • Ensure data accuracy: Audit conversion tracking, attribution signals, and data quality in GA4 and PostHog to reconcile channel spend against budgets and ensure decisions rely on trustworthy signals.
  • Leverage AI daily: Use AI tools like Claude or Gemini as part of your daily workflow to accelerate data analysis, iterate on ad copy, and automate reporting tasks.
  • Manage cross-functional workflows: Use Asana to manage campaign schedules, testing roadmaps, and cross-functional deliverables with Creative, Web, and Product Marketing teams.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media, growth marketing, or digital acquisition.
  • Strong practical expertise managing and optimizing Meta and Google Ads campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage paid media budgets and make data-driven decisions about budget allocation.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics including CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rate, CTR, CPM, CPC, and attribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze performance data, identify opportunities, and continuously improve results.
  • Experience developing and executing structured tests across creative, audiences, messaging, offers, landing pages, or channels.
  • Experience building performance reports or dashboards and communicating results clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude to improve analysis, reporting, automation, or marketing workflows.
  • Genuine interest in digital art, design, VFX, games, or the future of creative technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple campaigns, tests, and priorities simultaneously. An eye for fine details - must be observant, accurate, and precise.
  • Highly accountable, you take ownership and follow things through.
  • Strong cross-departmental collaboration skills; youโ€™re comfortable partnering across different teams and organizational levels.
  • Appetite for startup culture, meaning youโ€™re a quick learner, self-starter, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Passion for personal development and growth; you get excited about new challenges and solving problems.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience with annual subscription acquisition, SaaS, e-commerce, or recurring revenue models.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Advertising, Google Shopping, and Google Merchant Center.
  • Familiarity with customer data and marketing automation platforms (such as Ortto) and web analytics tools (such as PostHog, GA4, or Looker Studio).
  • Experience marketing to 3D artists, game developers, filmmakers, VFX artists, or digital creators across software, gaming, and digital media ecosystems.
Tools Youโ€™ll Use
  • Paid Media: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Shopping, Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Advertising
  • Analytics & Marketing: Ortto, PostHog, GA4
  • AI: Gemini & Claude
  • Project Management: Asana
  • Documentation: Whimsical, Google Workspace
