Overview

CTG is assisting a client in Leeds, MA is staffing a Document Advisor for an ongoing contract role.

Location: Leeds, MA

Pay: up to $27/hr BOE

Job Type: Hourly Consultant

Hours: 7:30 to 4 pm, M-F

An additional federal government background check will be run.

This role involves Managed Print Services at a Client location. Downloading data for sending out Postcards with appts and other information

This is not a creative role. Experience with InDesign or XMPie preferred. Must have top notch communication skills.

  • Primary resource for all document production needs of the client (potentially forms, document design, replenishment stock) for both litho/web printing as well as digital print solutions
  • Manages Customer relationships, partnering with Business Unit document owners to meet document production needs in a cost-effective manner
  • Promotes the print services of the Xerox or client production print center (where applicable)
  • Converts appropriate applications to digital platforms
  • Ensures that savings targets are met (if applicable) and recorded for various deliverables
  • Interfaces with preferred suppliers, both internal and external as required
  • Manages the various process requirements, such as attending forms committee, documenting production quote process, purchase order creation, proof exchange and approval, delivery date follow up, and client billing
  • Ensures appropriate documentation and reporting
  • Develops a solid understanding of key customer forms, documents and applications
  • Consultative approach
  • Coordinates the creation and revision of forms and client documents
  • Works closely with end-users to promote and educate on the various services available

SKILLS:

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of print industry experience either in a production and/or project management
  • Minimum of three (3) years in a customer relationship role
  • Experience in print estimation
  • Familiar with document production techniques
  • Experience with commercial / transaction print / digital print
  • Direct Mail Experience
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal direct supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Account management experience
  • Print procurement experience with commercial print vendors
  • Print inventory management and tracking experience preferred

EDUCATION:

Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred: Associates Degree

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
