Job Summary
The Lecturer/Assistant Professor position is a tenure-track faculty appointment in Art and Design with a primary focus on 3D media and interdisciplinary studio practice. The successful candidate will teach a range of three-dimensional processes that may include sculpture, ceramics, woodshop and fabrication techniques, digital fabrication, and emerging technologies relevant to contemporary 3D practice.
This position places a strong emphasis on integrating traditional analog methods with digital and technologically driven approaches, supporting students in developing conceptually rigorous and materially informed work. The faculty member will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and overseeing 3D studio facilities

Minimum Qualifications
1. MFA in Studio Art with an emphasis on 3D media (such as sculpture, ceramics, or interdisciplinary studio practice) or a closely related terminal degree
2. Demonstrated expertise across multiple 3D processes,
3. Ability to teach and support both traditional analog methods and digital or emerging 3D technologies
4. Record of professional artistic activity appropriate to the rank of Assistant / Associate Professor
5. Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and collaborative program development
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in community/public arts interaction, entrepreneurship, and grant writing
2. Experience with the integration of traditional media with new technologies
