PNC is seeking an experienced Creative Services Graphic Designer, Sr. with expertise in motion design and video editing to create compelling content for in-branch DCN experiences, sponsorship activations, social media campaigns and internal executive video requests. As a senior contributor within the in-house agency, this role partners with creative leaders, writers, marketers, external partners, and business stakeholders to translate complex ideas into engaging visual narratives. The ideal candidate combines agency-caliber motion design and editing expertise with strong conceptual thinking and the ability to deliver high-visibility work from strategy through final production.
Key Responsibilities
Motion Design & Visual Storytelling
- Lead the creative development of animation, motion graphics, and video content that supports PNC's brand, business, and customer objectives.
- Help to create compelling visual narratives that simplify complex concepts and strengthen audience engagement.
- Work with the ACD to develop storyboards, animatics, motion systems, and video treatments that align with brand strategy and campaign goals.
- Translate creative concepts into polished motion experiences optimized for multiple channels and audiences.
Video Production & Editing Excellence
- Serve as the in-house editor for enterprise video content, including in-branch DCN
campaigns, sponsorship activations, social media and internal executive video
requests.
- Direct post-production workflows including editing, color correction, sound design, animation integration, and final delivery.
- Ensure all video assets meet quality, accessibility, compliance, brand, and technical standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional creative quality and attention to detail.
Brand Stewardship & Creative Innovation
- Ensure all motion and video work reflects PNC's brand standards, visual identity, and customer experience principles.
- Evolve and modernize motion language, animation standards, and video storytelling approaches across channels.
- Establish scalable motion design systems and reusable assets that improve
consistency and efficiency.
- Identify emerging trends in animation, video, and digital storytelling to keep creative output fresh and relevant.
Strategic Partnership & Creative Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, writers, designers, marketers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Partner on enterprise initiatives requiring multimedia storytelling, executive
presentations, experiential content, environmental media, sponsorship activations, and digital experiences.
- Translate customer insights and business objectives into impactful visual
communication solutions.
AI Innovation & Motion Technology
- Advance AI-enabled creative capabilities across motion design and video production workflows.

Creative Operations & Delivery Excellence

Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, video editing, or multimedia production within an agency, in-house agency, production studio, or enterprise marketing environment.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion graphics, animation,
storytelling, and video editing.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Media Encoder.
- Experience creating content for digital, social, sponsorship, experiential,
environmental, and enterprise communication channels.
- Strong understanding of storyboarding, visual communication, pacing, typography, composition, and cinematic storytelling.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders within a fast-paced environment.
