Job Summary:
InterSources Inc. is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in IT Consulting Services. They are seeking a Contract Writer / Technical Writer who will be responsible for drafting and reviewing documentation related to procurement activities and ensuring clarity and consistency in contract language.
Responsibilities:
• Drafting and reviewing documentation related to procurement activities, such as purchase orders, service agreements, vendor contracts, modifications, and amendments.
• Creating contract documentation, including the development of the scope of services, performance requirements, and terms and conditions.
• Developing language that defines the delivery, service, quality, and pricing for services or products procured.
• Ensuring language is clear and consistent and coordinating with all business units and stakeholders to ensure all protocols, procedures, and requirements are developed in accordance with the Department's needs.
• Maintaining an internal documentation library, providing and/or coordinating special documentation services as required, and oversight of special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of business or technical writing experience and working knowledge of procurement processes/documentation.
• Intermediate professional level role. Works on several moderately complex to complex document management projects as a project team member.
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
