Tapestry 360 Health is a mission-driven, patient-centered Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) delivering comprehensive primary care, behavioral health, and enabling services to a diverse and underserved population. As a Health Resources and Services Administration-designated health center operating under Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act, Tapestry serves as a critical safety-net provider, ensuring access to high-quality, equitable care regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

With a workforce of approximately 250 employees and an annual operating budget of $44 million, the organization is advancing a deliberate strategy focused on financial sustainability, operational rigor, and long-term community impact. Key priorities include strengthening core infrastructure, expanding value-based care arrangements to align reimbursement with outcomes, and optimizing participation in the 340B Drug Pricing Program to reinvest resources into patient care. Through this integrated approach, Tapestry 360 Health is positioned to sustain and scale mission-critical services for the communities it serves well into the future.


Position Summary

Tapestry 360 Health is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Specialist to provide strategic and creative marketing support that advances the organization's mission, strengthens brand awareness, and supports fundraising, community engagement, and organizational communications. This position will collaborate closely with the Chief Development Officer, senior leadership, program staff, and external vendors to create and develop compelling marketing materials, manage digital communications, and support high-profile fundraising and community events.


The Marketing & Communications Specialist reports to the Chief Development Officer (CDO) and is a full-time contract position requiring a commitment of approximately 40 hours per week. The position offers a flexible work schedule, with the expectation that the contractor will work independently while meeting established project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables.


We are seeking an immediate hire.


Scope of Work

Marketing & Communications

  • Develop, write, design, coordinate production, and distribute marketing and development materials supporting fundraising initiatives, organizational programs, internal communications, and community outreach.
  • Develop, implement, and manage Tapestry's digital marketing presence through social media platforms, Meta advertising, Google Ads, email marketing, and other digital channels to increase philanthropic support, community awareness, and patient engagement.
  • Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns and evaluate campaign performance using analytics and reporting tools.
  • Develop creative and engaging content for:
    • Social media
    • Blogs
    • Internal and external newsletters
    • Annual video
    • Annual Impact Report
    • Website
  • Design and coordinate the production of brochures, promotional materials, signage, branded merchandise, and other collateral as requested. All design work is done in Canva.
  • In collaboration with the CDO, develop, design, produce, and coordinate the distribution of Tapestry's Annual Impact Report.
  • Manage ongoing updates to the Tapestry 360 Health website in collaboration with the organization's web developer.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and recommend strategies that strengthen Tapestry's visibility and community presence.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with graphic designers, printers, photographers, videographers, web developers, and other marketing vendors, including obtaining quotes and overseeing project timelines.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports on key marketing metrics, website traffic, engagement, and advertising effectiveness.


Fundraising, Community Relations & Special Events

  • Partner with the Development team to support the planning and execution of Tapestry's signature fundraising events, including the annual Fall Gala and Spring Golf Outing.
  • Develop event branding, invitations, sponsorship materials, event webpages, presentations, videos, signage, and other event-related communications.
  • Assist with coordinating event messaging, award recipient recognition, speaker presentations, scripts, and printed materials.
  • Support community engagement initiatives and marketing efforts that increase awareness of Tapestry's mission and impact.


Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional marketing and communications experience, preferably supporting nonprofit organizations, healthcare organizations, or mission-driven institutions.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and copywriting skills with experience creating content for diverse audiences.
  • Strong graphic design and visual communications experience, including print and digital collateral. Experience in Canva a plus.
  • Experience managing websites (knowledge of Word Press a plus), email marketing platforms (such as Constant Contact), social media platforms (experience using Buffer a plus), Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta advertising.
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, staff, vendors, donors, and community partners.
  • Experience coordinating outside vendors and managing multiple creative projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a FQHC, healthcare or nonprofit marketing is strongly preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Journalism, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $30 - $35 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and organizational needs.
