Background

  • The primary responsibility of the Technology Services (TS) ERP Cloud Solution Delivery team is to maintain and support highly visible cloud systems, Workday, Adaptive Planning, and Coupa.
  • We are seeking one Workday Functional Analyst to augment the team.
  • The Contractor will provide support, which includes troubleshooting Production issues, configuring the Workday Finance application, performing end-to-end testing of integrations, reports, and/or business processes.
  • The Contractor would support the Production Workday environment, future releases, and the development of new solutions and enhancements.

Role and Responsibilities


The candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills outlined in the Technical Services BOA, Section 3.13.2.3 for labor category Senior Functional Analyst.


The Contractor shall deliver, but not limited to, the following:

  • Partnering with stakeholders to define needs, analyze business processes, and design, test, and implement system solutions.
  • Configuring business processes and functional areas in Workday Finance to meet organizational requirements.
  • Research and develop solutions for the integration issues between Workday and the Coupa system
  • Managing biannual Workday updates, analyzing feature releases, and implementing new functionalities
  • Document project deliverables such as requirements specification, design, and test results

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate shall also demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:


  • The ability to configure, implement, test, and document solutions in Workday Finance
  • Regression testing of the application and integrations for the upcoming Workday release
  • Excellent work ethic, communication, and organizational skills
  • Possess experience with integrations in Workday (Orchestrate, Studio, EIB, etc)

Personnel Qualifications

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science or a related degree in the IT field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in full SDLC for all task order applications and technologies.

  • Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
  • Identifies resources required for each task.
  • Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.
