To thrive as a Creative Studio Remote professional, you need a strong background in graphic design, digital media production, and creative problem-solving, often supported by a relevant degree or portfolio of work. Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), project management software, and collaboration platforms is typically required. These abilities ensure high-quality creative output, efficient teamwork, and the capacity to meet client or project deadlines in a remote setting.

How does a remote creative studio team typically collaborate to deliver projects effectively?

A Creative Studio Remote refers to a team or individual who provides creative services such as graphic design, video production, branding, or digital content creation while working remotely. These professionals use collaboration tools and cloud-based platforms to deliver high-quality creative assets without being physically present in a traditional studio environment. At Gensler, we design for people. By combining our global perspective with local expertise, we innovate at every scale. We are more than designers-we are craftspeople, visionaries, and thought leaders. Driven by passion and entrepreneurial spirit, our teams bring new ideas forward to solve complex challenges. Whether you are sketching new concepts, refining building strategies, or cultivating client relationships across global markets, there is a place for you here.

Our expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including aviation, transportation, education, hospitality, retail, and technology. Whether refreshing a retailer's brand, planning a new urban district, or designing a supertall building, our goal is to make everyday environments more inspiring, resilient, and impactful.

Your Role

As a Gensler Technical Designer, you will collaborate with talented designers who help shape the future of the built environment. You will contribute to all phases of design, including concept development, construction documentation, and construction administration. We are looking for team members who pair creativity with strong technical expertise and who are committed to guiding clients as they evolve and grow their brands.

Our Atlanta office has a thriving Retail and Consumer Experience practice and is looking to expand our team. As a Technical Designer within this group, you will help deliver worldclass retail environments by integrating design excellence, technical rigor, and strategic thinking. You will work with a multidisciplinary team from concept through completion to deliver quality project work as a steward of Gensler's commitment to quality, innovation, and impact.

What You Will Do

  • Perform technical design assignments, including programming client needs, developing conceptual diagrams and models, producing technical studies, and generating construction documentation.
  • Support communication among project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and permitting officials.
  • Provide design and documentation support throughout project execution.
  • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
  • Support coordination with local jurisdictions for permit submissions, plan review responses, and approvals.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an architectural design firm
  • Proficiency in Revit (required)
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu, SketchUp, 3dMax, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS Office
  • Collaborative, teamoriented mindset.
  • Selfmotivated, responsible, and highly driven.
  • Demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable design practices.
  • State licensure and LEED accreditation a plus

Please include a portfolio of work samples and review the qualifications above to ensure alignment with this role.

This role is fully inoffice; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available. We look forward to welcoming our new Architect to our dynamic Atlanta studio.
