The Summer 2027 Co-op/Intern position with Deloitte’s Strategy & Business Design Team (Monitor Deloitte) is an incredible opportunity to join one of Canada’s top strategy consulting firms and help shape solutions to the most complex challenges facing the country’s leading businesses.      

What will your typical day look like?

We are modern consultancy – combining strategy expertise with deep technology, analytics and operations experience, to create pragmatic solutions and outcomes.    

In Deloitte’s Strategy & Business Design team, you will work with collaborative teams that aim to shape every aspect of businesses and help organizations across a wide range of industries to imagine, deliver, and run their future. Your typical responsibilities may include conducting research, synthesizing results, preparing client workshops and presentations, analyzing and visualizing data, designing new products and digital assets, innovating tools and methodologies, and supporting strategic firm initiatives. You will have the opportunity to leverage your professional background and skills by specializing immediately or by gaining exposure to several industries and competencies during your first few years with the firm.

Strategy & Business Design (Monitor Deloitte) is a team within Deloitte’s Strategy, Risk, and Transactions practice. At Monitor Deloitte, we partner with companies to help solve their most complex challenges, build competitive advantage and deliver lasting positive change. In this role, the expected qualifications are:    

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program pursuing Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or other relevant Degree returning to school following the co-op term.    
  • Able to work within a wide range of industries performing research, data analysis and modeling to solve complex business problems.    
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with competing deadlines and rapidly evolving client needs and conditions.    
  • Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with creative ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions. French and English language working proficiency is required for placement at the Montreal office.    
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to enter the USA to work on client assignments.   

 Quebec: We require basic English skills to meet our clients’ needs. As part of your assignments, you may work for clients who operate outside Quebec and whose language is English. 

Ottawa Only: Employees in the Ottawa consulting practice will be required to obtain “reliability” and/or “Secret” level federal security clearances as a condition of their employment. To be eligible for a "Reliability" status you must have resided in Canada for the last five (5) years and for "Secret" level, the last ten (10) years.

The salary range for this position is $48,000 - $72,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
