Job description

About the Role

Kensington Tours is seeking a highly organized and creative Luxury Events & Content Marketing Intern to support the planning and execution of up to 12 exclusive repeat client events in 2027. This is a rare, high-impact internship at the intersection of luxury event production, influencer marketing, client relations, and multi-channel content strategy.

This role will help bring Kensington's loyalty program to life - curating intimate, money-can't-buy experiences for our most valued repeat clients, while capturing and amplifying event content to inspire other clients and drive broader brand desire across social, email, and paid channels.

What You'll Do

  • Client Segmentation & Invitations
  • Partner with the CRM team to segment and identify the right repeat clients for each event based on trip history, engagement, and location
  • Develop tailored event invitation copy and coordinate personalized outreach to confirmed guest lists
  • Track RSVPs, manage guest communications, and maintain accurate event attendance records

Event Planning & Gifting

  • Support end-to-end planning and logistics for up to 12 exclusive client events throughout 2027
  • Research, source, and coordinate procurement of custom gifts for event attendees - aligned with Kensington's luxury brand standards
  • Develop event run-of-show documents, briefing materials, and day-of logistics plans

Influencer & Press Coordination

  • Identify and secure one influencer and one press attendee per event - managing outreach, briefing, and attendance confirmation
  • Develop clear content briefs for influencer and press partners outlining posting expectations, key messages, and brand guidelines
  • Orchestrate on-site content capture to ensure high-quality photo and video assets are collected at each event
  • Follow up post-event to confirm influencer and press coverage is published across their respective channels

Content Amplification & Campaign Support

  • Work with the Integrated Marketing team to repurpose event content into social media, email, and paid campaign assets
  • Help craft post-event content narratives that generate aspirational desire among other repeat clients - positioning Kensington events as exclusive, coveted experiences
  • Track and report on content performance across channels following each event

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in event planning, influencer marketing, or luxury brand environments
  • Exceptional organizational skills - able to manage multiple events and workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for premium, on-brand copy and messaging
  • Comfortable with outreach and relationship management - confident communicating with influencers, press contacts, and clients
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, content formats, and basic campaign reporting
  • A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Passion for luxury travel, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a strong asset

What You'll Gain

  • End-to-end exposure to luxury event production for a globally recognized travel brand
  • Hands-on experience with influencer and press relations in a luxury lifestyle context
  • Experience building and executing multi-channel content campaigns from real event assets
  • Direct collaboration with senior marketing, strategy, and client experience teams
  • A standout portfolio of luxury events and campaigns to showcase upon graduation
