JOB SUMMARY:

Leads team to partner closely with Global Brand and Commercial and UDX Executive leaders to bring ideas to life through high-impact presentations, events, and visual storytelling. Focus on moments that matter-sales meetings, leadership summits, brand showcases, partner events, and internal milestones-where clarity, emotion, and craft make the difference. Works closely with UDX executive leaders, planners, and producers to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling, beautifully crafted experiences-from pitch decks that win business to events that energize teams and partners.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as the senior leader for the multimedia function, accountable for setting the vision, performance expectations, and creative standards for a high performing team of internal talent and external partners. This role leads through coaching, mentorship, and oversight, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and creative excellence. Provides executive level creative direction across presentations and live events, ensuring work consistently translates complex business objectives into clear, compelling, and audience focused visual narratives. Hands on involvement is exercised selectively for high visibility initiatives, model setting, and critical enterprise moments.
  • Trusted creative advisor to UDX executive leadership and senior stakeholders, partnering closely to shape narratives, clarify messaging, and elevate how ideas are communicated across internal and external forums. Ensures creative solutions are strategically aligned with business priorities while balancing scope, timelines, and resources. Collaborates cross functionally with planning, production, and project management partners to deliver work that meets organizational objectives, budget parameters, and enterprise standards.
  • Provides strategic oversight for the creative development and execution of live events and experiential environments, including stage design, branded moments, exhibits, and installations. This responsibility focuses on ensuring creative intent is consistently translated into execution across live environments and that experiential solutions effectively support business and brand objectives. The Director may provide onsite leadership and escalation support for key events to ensure alignment, quality, and delivery under real world conditions.
  • Accountable for optimizing creative operations through the development and continuous improvement of tools, templates, workflows, and governance models that support efficient, scalable, and high quality delivery. This includes establishing best practices that enable teams to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, event driven environment while maintaining consistency, brand integrity, and operational discipline.
  • Serves as a steward of enterprise brand expression, ensuring all multimedia output adheres to established brand standards while continuing to evolve creatively. This role maintains awareness of emerging trends in presentation design, experiential storytelling, motion graphics, and event technology, applying relevant insights to elevate the organization's creative capabilities and long term impact.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in presentation design, event design, experiential, or multimedia creative disciplines, including multiple years in a formal leadership capacity overseeing creative teams and complex initiatives; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Advanced mastery of Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and video editing tools
  • Experience designing for live environments and A/V systems (screens, stage layouts, transitions)
  • Ability to visualize and communicate data, ideas, and narratives through animation, builds, charts, and diagrams
  • Willingness to support key events, including occasional nights, weekends, and travel
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as both a strategic creative leader and an expert practitioner, maintaining hands on fluency in building presentations, shaping narratives, refining visual systems, and solving complex creative challenges when appropriate.
  • Deep expertise in designing content intended for live delivery, with a strong understanding of how pacing, motion, storytelling, and visual clarity perform in real time, audience facing environments.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and emotionally resonant visual narratives.
  • Proven experience partnering cross functionally with creative, sales, events, production, and communications teams, with a strong understanding of how presentation and experiential design supports broader business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success leading and overseeing creative work across multiple formats, including presentations, motion graphics, video, environmental, and print applications.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast paced, event driven environment while maintaining high standards of quality and execution.
