Role Purpose

You will help shape how the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games look and feel, turning creative service requests into polished, on-brand work that teammates encounter across the organization. Within the Brand, Identity & Look team, reporting to the Manager, Creative Services, you lead creative projects from intake through final execution across multiple functional areas. In the years leading up to the Games, you translate stakeholder needs into strategic, visually compelling outputs and establish scalable design approaches the team can reuse. This role blends hands-on craft with independent judgment, demanding meticulous attention to detail and the confidence to articulate a clear creative rationale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate stakeholder needs into strategic, visually compelling outputs, and contribute concept development and creative exploration across organizational initiatives.
  • Develop and execute presentations, campaign assets, environmental graphics, event materials, and branded collateral.
  • Elevate storytelling through typography, layout systems, imagery, and visual hierarchy.
  • Independently manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities while maintaining quality control and production readiness.
  • Establish scalable design approaches and reusable systems, and support asset libraries, workflows, and organizational standards.
  • Present work confidently and articulate creative rationale to stakeholders across the organization.

Required Competencies

  • Minimum 3+ years of agency, in-house, design studio, sports/entertainment, or corporate brand design experience, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and executional excellence
  • A portfolio submission is required.
  • Advanced understanding of typography, layout, visual storytelling, and brand identity systems.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to independently lead projects and influence outcomes, paired with excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Valued Experience

  • Past experience contributing to Olympic, Paralympic, or comparable major-event programs.
  • Sports or entertainment industry experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in design, art, or a related field is preferred.

What We Offer

  • A once-in-a-career chance to shape the creative identity of a global Games.
  • Real ownership of work seen across presentations, events, venues, and campaigns.
  • A collaborative design team that values craft, pragmatism, and shared success.
  • Broad cross-functional exposure and transferable skills that carry well beyond the Games.

What This Role Means for the Games

The creative work you deliver shapes how audiences, partners, and teammates experience the LA28 brand at every touchpoint. By turning ideas into polished, on-brand assets and reusable systems, you help the Games look and feel unmistakably world-class.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
