Job description

We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
Job Summary:
Manage the design and production of print collateral, print contracts, and visual communication projects in support of college branding initiatives. Supervise creative staff and coordinate the development of print and digital assets across multiple platforms. Collaborate with marketing contacts across the district and work with the production coordinator to establish project timelines, specifications, and production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
Required Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage the design, production, and distribution of print and visual communication materials, including logos, brochures, catalogs, schedules, direct mail promotions, outdoor advertising, brand identity materials, photography, and video projects. Meet with clients to determine project requirements and communicate project objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the creative team.
  • Ensure the consistent application of district branding standards and visual identity guidelines across print, digital, and multimedia communications.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients and creative services staff to review project requests, establish priorities, and monitor project progress. Collaborate with Communications staff to coordinate project workflow and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate printing specifications, bid documentation, and vendor communications. Manage pre-press production processes and conduct press checks as needed to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain printing and production budgets, including coordination and review of annual bid specifications in partnership with the purchasing department.
  • Evaluate and recommend software, equipment, and technology solutions to support efficient operations, maintain industry standards, and enhance creative services productivity.
  • Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate creative services staff, including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and other assigned personnel. Assign workloads, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate and manage outsourced creative projects and vendor relationships, including freelance photographers, videographers, designers, and production contractors. Assist with the selection of contractors and oversee project execution to ensure quality standards and project objectives are met.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work. Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field and four (4) years of directly related experience.
Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
