AI-Native Growth Engineer / Creative Technologist

Freelance Contract | Southern California | Hybrid

PA-AI is looking for an exceptional AI-native builder to help create an intelligent, scalable growth engine for a new Human Intelligence Infrastructure platform.

This is not a traditional social media management position.

We want someone who understands AI agents, automation, analytics, technology and digital culture—and knows how to combine them to generate measurable adoption among two distinct audiences:

  • College students, entrepreneurs and emerging innovators
  • Professionals, executives, consultants and enterprise decision-makers

The platform helps people and organizations discover what they do not know but need to know before committing capital, time and resources.

PA-AI is an incubation of RKS Design, whose work has generated more than 500 patents, 200 design awards and billions of dollars in enterprise value.

The Opportunity

You will help design and build an AI-powered growth system that identifies relevant conversations, creates platform-specific content, activates communities, tests messaging and converts awareness into qualified PA-AI users.

We are not looking for someone who simply schedules posts.

We want someone who can build the machine behind the campaign.

The Growth System We Want to Build

The broader vision includes:

  • An AI-powered content and campaign production system
  • Coordinated but distinct acquisition campaigns for students and professionals
  • Automated discovery of relevant trends, conversations and engagement opportunities
  • A student challenge, campus ambassador and referral engine
  • A professional thought-leadership engine for LinkedIn and YouTube
  • A system that transforms PA-AI insights into videos, carousels, posts, articles and responses
  • Automated outreach to university organizations, student publications, creators and professional communities
  • Shareable SPS result cards, leaderboards and viral participation loops
  • A measurement dashboard connecting content to registrations, Foundation completion, referrals and paid conversion
  • A continuous testing system for messaging, creative, audiences and calls to action

You will not be expected to build all of this at once. Your first objective will be to identify the highest-leverage opportunities, build the initial growth architecture and prove what works.

What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to build AI agents, automations or growth systems
  • Strong command of current generative AI, video, content and workflow tools
  • Experience connecting APIs, analytics, CRM and publishing platforms
  • Understanding of TikTok and Instagram culture for student audiences
  • Understanding of LinkedIn thought leadership and professional conversion
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, accessible stories
  • A bias toward rapid experimentation, measurement and continuous improvement
  • Ability to execute independently while collaborating closely with PA-AI leadership
  • Based in Southern California and available for periodic meetings at RKS Design in Thousand Oaks

A computer science, engineering, technical product or entrepreneurial background is preferred, but demonstrated capability matters more than credentials.

How Success Will Be Measured

We care about measurable behavior—not vanity metrics.

Success will be evaluated through:

  • Qualified student and professional registrations
  • Percentage of registrants completing the PA-AI Foundation
  • Referral and sharing rates
  • Cost per qualified registration
  • Conversion from content to platform engagement
  • Organic reach generated by repeatable systems
  • Speed and quality of experimentation
  • Percentage of the growth system that becomes intelligently automated

Initial 30-Day Engagement

The engagement will begin with a paid 30-day discovery, build and validation sprint.

During the sprint, the selected candidate will:

  1. Audit PA-AI's existing content, channels, analytics and growth assets
  2. Design the initial AI-powered growth architecture
  3. Identify the highest-leverage acquisition opportunities for student and professional audiences
  4. Build and launch the first working components of the system
  5. Run measurable acquisition and messaging experiments
  6. Establish an initial measurement framework
  7. Present results, learnings and a roadmap for scaling what works

Anticipated project fee: $3,000–$5,000, depending on experience and the agreed-upon scope and deliverables.

This is a project-based independent contractor engagement, not a monthly salary. The engagement will begin on a trial basis, with the possibility of a continuing engagement or transition into a permanent position if there is a strong mutual fit and measurable results.

Some in-office availability at our Thousand Oaks, California office is required.
