SUMMARY

The Rock City Creative Residency is a paid internship created to identify and develop creative individuals for future opportunities at Rock City Church. (Staff roles are not guaranteed upon completion.) Residents will have the opportunity to develop under some of the best leaders in ministry and work in a team environment that encourages personal, professional, and spiritual growth.

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Weekly learning blocks (Ministry Rotations, Rock City Leadership, Spiritual Formation, Masterclass, etc.)
  • Sunday serve in a Rock City Creative role
  • Participation in Rock City Leadership Academy during Residency
  • Actively participating in a Rock City Small Group
  • Attend all-staff required events and activities
  • Weekly mentorship with an assigned Rock City Staff member
  • Local outreach or Dream Center serve opportunities, as needed
  • Special projects, as assigned

RESIDENCY INFO

  • Mid-August 2026- February 2027
  • 9-5 Monday-Thursday, Sunday (40 hours/week)
  • Residents will develop spiritually, personally, and professionally through book discussions, staff training events, weekly learning blocks, their Rock City role, and other ministry opportunities
  • Residents will earn an hourly wage of $17/hour and are considered full-time, temporary
  • Full-time, temporary roles are not benefits eligible
