Job description

True Classic is hiring a Creative Strategist to take ownership of developing high-performing, persona-driven creative strategy and messaging across paid media channels. This role will lead creative strategy and performance-informed messaging development, ensuring creative concepts, copy, and testing frameworks drive measurable business impact across the funnel. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, analytical, hands-on, and deeply consumer-minded and can translate customer insights and performance data into scalable creative systems, testable hypotheses, and high-converting campaigns in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
All of True Classic's roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and sales and marketing channels. This role will have impact across DTC, retail, wholesale, marketplaces, and emerging channels, ensuring strategic alignment and executional rigor across the enterprise.
Areas of Accountability
Creative Strategy & Performance Insights
  • Own creative reporting and learning recaps across assigned products and verticals
  • Analyze creative performance patterns across hooks, messaging, structure, tone, offers, and claims to inform next steps
  • Translate customer insights, CX feedback, and performance trends into actionable creative testing roadmaps
  • Connect media performance insights to creative strategy opportunities that improve CPA and scale winning concepts
Messaging Architecture & Copy Development
  • Build persona-based messaging frameworks across funnel stages, including value propositions, objections, RTBs, social proof, offers, and CTAs
  • Write high-converting direct-response copy across hooks, VO scripts, captions, headlines, and landing page concepts
  • Develop messaging systems and playbooks that improve consistency, speed, and creative quality
  • Apply consumer psychology, JTBD thinking, and persuasion frameworks to strengthen campaign effectiveness
Creative Briefing & Execution Support
  • Author performance-informed creative briefs rooted in hypotheses, success metrics, and strategic insights
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to reverse-engineer top-performing concepts and evolve them into scalable creative systems
  • Provide clear direction and feedback to creators, editors, and production partners throughout execution
  • Prototype and communicate creative direction through lightweight edits, annotated boards, and visual references when needed
Platform Strategy & Operational Excellence
  • Develop platform-native creative strategies across Meta, TikTok, YouTube/Shorts, and CTV
  • Maintain awareness of emerging platform trends, creative formats, and audience behaviors
  • Utilize AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, copy development, and workflow efficiency
  • Ensure messaging and claims remain compliant with approved legal and brand guidelines
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Creative, Media Buying, and Analytics teams to align creative strategy with performance objectives
  • Work with Customer Insights and CX teams to integrate consumer feedback and behavioral trends into messaging development
  • Collaborate across creative production teams, creators, legal, and brand stakeholders to ensure high-quality, compliant, and performance-driven execution
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, copywriting, or direct-response advertising
  • Experience with Meta, TikTok, YouTube/Shorts, CTV, Looker, Ads Managers, and creative analytics tools
  • Strong strategic thinking, copywriting, creative analysis, and consumer psychology skills
  • Ability to translate performance data into scalable creative concepts and actionable testing frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage fast-paced creative workflows, and drive measurable business outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with AIDA, PASDA, and other direct-response copy frameworks
  • Nice to have: experience with CapCut, Premiere, Figma, Photoshop, or Canva for lightweight creative prototyping
