Job DetailsJob Location: Eden Prairie or Remote - EDEN PRAIRIE, MN 55344Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 Salary/yearTravel Percentage: Up to 30%Job Shift: DayJob Category: ManagementThe Project Manager is responsible for the successful Initiation, Planning, Design, Execution, Monitoring, Controlling and Closure of the project. Ultimately accountable for the financial success as well as ensuring timelines and deliverables are met in accordance with pre-determined client expectations. The single point of contact for all stakeholders. The Project Manager will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.   Responsibilities: \tDevelop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members. \tReview & understand SOWs and project contracts to determine time to deliver, allotment of available and required internal and/or third-party resources to various phases of project. \tResponsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of the project. \tResponsible for leading a project meeting among Sales, Engineers, customer resources, Finance (as needed), Third Party resources (as needed). \tResponsible for effective communication to all project stakeholders including change orders and delivery, on-site visits (as needed). \tProvide updates to management including weekly project review meetings. \tEngage Finance/accounting and purchasing department personnel as needed for project purchases and/or equipment. \tReview project status daily to keep it on schedule financially, identify problem areas, and spearhead resolution. \tProvide clear and concise communications when there are any deviations to project scope, timeline, or financials. \tRaise awareness immediately to management regarding potential issues or any costs that will affect Alpha financially on assigned projects. \tEnsure that any scope, schedule, cost or change of terms are handled in accordance to stated change order procedures. \tRetain responsibility for resolving all project related issues. \tPrepare project reports as requested by management and PMO Director. \tRespond to communications from customers regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner with by returning all phone calls or emails. \tEnsure that approved methods, processes and tools are consistently followed using Alpha’s documented Project Management Methodology. \tAll other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate.   Requirements: \tUp to 30% travel, occasionally on a last-minute basis. \tOccasional evening and weekend work. \tMust possess a valid driver’s license. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \tKnowledge of established industry standard Project Management Methodologies (PMI). \tPrior experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. \tDemonstrated ability to manage project scope change and billing within a for profit environment. \tExperience using project tracking tools. \tExcellent organizational skills demonstrated by managing multiple priorities/projects. \tExcellent interpersonal skills demonstrated by ability to lead client and internal team through the duration of the project. \tDemonstrated clarity and accuracy of written documentation. \tHigh level of organization \tHigh level of job site familiarity i.e., construction and corporate atmosphere. \tMust be able to communicate effectively in a team. \tAbility to read and comprehend CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical drawings. \tMust have excellent computer skills. \tSelf-motivated. \tResourceful. \tAbility to solve unusual or unexpected problems.   Education/Experience: \t5+ Years Project Management Experience. \tFour-year degree or combination of schooling and project management experience. \t3+ years audio visual and/or broadcast project management experience (preferred, not required).   Computer Skills: \tProficient with Microsoft Suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel. \tMicrosoft Project. \tQ360 preferred.   Certificates and Licenses: \tPMP or CAPM preferred.
