Job description

MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER

Position Summary:

The Marketing Project Manager works with and reports to the Senior Project Manager and is responsible for helping to manage projects for Ken Garff dealerships and departments and support the Agency Services team, including support for workflow, project and time tracking, and material production. This position will also collaborate closely with the Digital Services, Creative Services, Media, and Regional Marketing Manager teams as well as preferred agencies and vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Project and Account Management

  • At the direction of the Senior Project Manager (SPM) and other marketing leadership, project manage key company projects across multiple disciplines and departments, including but not limited to new site builds, conference materials, operational training, digital assets, and printed materials, for internal departments, dealerships, and non-dealership Ken Garff entities.
    • A significant portion of the above will be with Ken Garff fleet, parts, upfitting, and aftermarket automotive equipment brands, fulfilling on their ongoing project needs.
  • Communicate regularly with the SPM and key stakeholders on timelines, budgets, and statuses, understanding progress on each project and coordinating deadlines and deliverables.
  • Assist in execution of all Ken Garff dealership marketing activities where needed. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Owning and managing assigned projects from beginning to end
    • Owning and managing relationships with defined Ken Garff departments and entities
    • Understand the broader Agency Services department and share in responsibilities where needed
    • Gain broad perspective of Ken Garff's marketing and business objectives and align project goals accordingly
    • Estimate time and budgets for projects and present to stakeholders
    • Use data and research to formulate recommendations on how to optimize current marketing strategies
    • Craft effective and efficient methods of identifying and reaching our respective audiences
    • Act as marketing consultant to assigned entities, helping them understand their marketing and guiding them to the best decisions possible
    • Build and take responsibility for the ongoing marketing and advertising plan budget for assigned entities
    • Assess performance of any third-party marketing vendors and manage those relationships
    • Oversee the quality and final delivery of all marketing assets and activities for each brand
    • Other marketing tasks as assigned

Reporting

  • Gather and assemble relevant dealership marketing performance data for analysis
  • Track and report on relevant market, manufacturer and competitor trends
  • Track, report, and analyze all key marketing performance metrics related to ROI and ROAS
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders for relevant project
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing marketing plans to maximize efficiency and business results

Required experience:

  • Project management work experience
  • College degree
