These creative projects usually fall under the marketing department, but there are opportunities in other sections of a company. As a creative project manager, your job duties are to shape the ideas of the project, define clear goals and objectives in consultation with other departments, organize your team, and keep them on task. The creative project manager needs to maintain a balance between allowing the creative talent freedom to explore ideas while still making sure the team meets deadlines and creates a strong project, so you need excellent interpersonal and negotiations skills for this career.

About the Role:
Sitecore is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior Marketing Project Manager to manage complex marketing initiatives, keep teams aligned, and ensure flawless execution. You’ll be in the center of it all, managing key projects across content, creative, brand programs, and our flagship annual event, Sitecore Symposium.

If you love bringing clarity to projects, keeping stakeholders accountable, and making sure things get done in a timely fashion, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own project execution—build timelines, track deliverables, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Be the glue between creative, content, events, campaign, and web teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment.
  • Drive our biggest marketing initiatives, including our annual event—from early planning to final execution.
  • Run point on project management tools, including recommendation and implementation of tool optimization
  • Keep cross-functional stakeholders accountable and ensure everyone knows what’s next.
  • Solve problems before they happen—identify risks and clear roadblocks before they derail progress.
  • Streamline processes to help the team move faster without sacrificing quality.
  • Communicate like a pro, making sure leadership and stakeholders always know where things stand.

What You Need to Succeed:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing project management (B2B tech? Even better!).
  • A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach—you don’t just oversee projects, you actively manage them.
  • Deep understanding of the creative process and how marketing teams work.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools, (ideally Wrike and/or Asana)
  • A knack for keeping multiple projects on track without breaking a sweat.
  • Confident, clear communicator who can keep stakeholders informed (and accountable!).
  • A love for structure, organization, and simplicity—you turn chaos into clarity.
  • You started exploring how AI can make your life easier by automating mundane tasks.
  • Experience managing large-scale events or high-profile marketing programs is a huge plus!

Why You’ll Love It Here:
  • You’ll be at the center of big, exciting marketing programs.
  • You’ll work with an ambitious, creative team that values clarity and simplicity.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to shape how marketing programs get executed.
  • You’ll get to see the direct impact of your work—especially on our global event!
