Job description

High end general contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager
A well established and growing residential renovation design build firm in business for over 40 years is
seeking a full-time proactive, resourceful, detail-orientated and creative project manager to join our
production team working on upper-level projects in the Boston and Greater-Boston area. The project
manager will facilitate the project process from initial scheduling to final completion. As the position
requires constant interaction with our clients, employees, subcontractors and vendors, excellent
written and verbal skills are important.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to hire, train and manage members of the production team,
manage materials procurement, manage projects to keep them on schedule and on budget, interface
with clients on a daily and weekly basis, keep abreast of new technology that can be used in the
production process, and ensure compliance with workplace safety programs. This is an excellent
opportunity for qualified candidates to join our growing company with opportunities for advancement.
Requirements for the position include:
• 5+ years’ experience in residential remodeling with 3+ or more in a supervisory role
• The ability to manage projects to completion on time and on budget
• The ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• The ability to create and manage detailed project schedules
• Subcontractor scheduling and contract administration
• Initiate change order estimating and budgeting, create material takeoffs for ordering
• Proficient with materials and methods utilized in residential construction
• Strong organizational, customer service, and communication (written & verbal) skills
• Ability to work with both internal and external teams
• Comfortable with the use of technology to assist in project management and collaboration
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Builder Trend and Revit a plus
• A valid driver’s license, current MA CSL or willingness/ability to get one, OSHA 30 a plus
