Job description

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience, plus minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Deputy Program Manager of Operations (DPMO), you will lead cross-functional teams within manufacturing in support of our Airborne Systems business unit. In this role you will be responsible for the overall manufacturing execution of the programs that you support, including all cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.

  • Experience with overseeing project performance, cost, scope, and schedule
  • Experience with generating, analyzing, and monitoring budgets and schedules
  • Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration within teams/Subject Matter Experts to ensure health of overall program
  • Analytic and problem solving skills, with advanced decision-making ability
  • Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to perform analysis of work flow/load balancing and take appropriate action

  • A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science / Engineering field, is preferred.
  • Experience with new product introduction manufacturing, and transitioning new programs from development to production
  • Ability to assess risk and scope changes that may impact program cost and schedule
  • Proficient understanding of earned value tools
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
  • Experience in implementing new processes, documentation, and quality/process controls
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications; detail oriented

  • Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects with successful outcomes
