Tax Advisors – Ultra High Net Worth Clients – Multi Family Office

Phoenix, Arizona, United States (On-site)

The Tax Advisors are responsible for providing compliance services and sophisticated tax planning for diverse and complex UHNW clients. This role works closely with the Director of Tax to deliver high-level tax solutions tailored to client needs. Tax Advisors are directly involved in compliance and consulting for specific client engagements and collaborate with engagement teams to ensure that tax-related matters are handled with precision and care.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual, trust, partnership, and corporate returns
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for HNW individuals, families, family offices, and closely held businesses
  • Research and analyze complex tax issues to optimize client strategies
  • Advise clients on the tax implications of investment strategies and financial decisions
  • Stay current with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Monitor tax deadlines and internal processes to support timely filings
  • Serve as a resource to colleagues on complex tax matters and recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and engagement teams

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solving skills and responsiveness
  • Master’s in Taxation, CFP, PFS, and/or CPWA designation(s) a plus
