Job description

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Creative Design Specialist to join our growing team in the Memorial City, Houston, TX area!
This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about transforming ideas, artwork, photographs, and memorabilia into visually compelling custom displays that become lasting keepsakes.
Working closely with our Custom Framing team, you will create custom layouts, typography, collages, print-ready artwork, and presentation mockups for sports memorabilia, jerseys, awards, corporate displays, fine art reproductions, and specialty framing projects. You will also collaborate directly with clients to help bring their vision to life, guiding them through design options and creating polished concepts that translate seamlessly into production.
We are looking for someone who combines creativity with technical expertise, has an exceptional eye for detail, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a team that takes pride in producing one-of-a-kind custom pieces.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design custom layouts for framed sports memorabilia, jerseys, artwork, photographs, certificates, and specialty displays
  • Create client-facing design mockups and visual presentations that communicate the final look and feel of each project
  • Develop print-ready production and prepress files for large-format printing and specialty fabrication
  • Collaborate with clients and the framing team to develop creative concepts and personalized design solutions
  • Edit, restore, and enhance photographs and digital artwork for high-quality reproduction
  • Design multi-layered shadow box layouts, collages, backgrounds, typography, and custom graphic elements
  • Prepare artwork for large-format printing while ensuring color accuracy, sizing, and production quality
  • Work closely with production and framing teams to ensure designs transition smoothly from concept to finished product
  • Organize and maintain digital assets, production files, and project documentation
  • Assist with creative problem-solving and develop unique solutions for custom client requests
  • Maintain exceptional quality standards while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, production design, print design, or creative services
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Experience creating print-ready artwork and prepress production files
  • Experience with large-format printing environments
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, composition, and print production
  • Ability to translate customer ideas into polished visual concepts and production-ready designs
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
