Job description

Looking for creative, energetic individuals interested in working in community settings with a dynamic team of committed individuals. Northeast Clinical Associates {NECA} provides a unique opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder in community.

Theย Key Connectionย approach utilizes creative community-based interventions to supplement a solid behavior analytic framework that includes PBS principles, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing practices.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Providing trauma-informed clinical supports to older children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families

{ASD} for individuals for the purpose of increasing self-management, self-help & social skills, ADL and home routines while decreasing challenging behaviors within the home and the community

  • Providing person-centered services in homes or the community
  • Insuring the health, safety, and well-being of supported individuals
  • Implementing creative community-based programs developed with the Team
  • Teaching specific skills and behaviors, in accordance with the goals, objective and strategies identified in their behavioral treatment plan within a supportive therapeutic environment
  • Maintaining respect and confidentiality for all persons
  • Maintaining treatment records, taking data, and producing contact notes at each visit
  • Completing required paperwork (written contact notes, time sheets, mileage sheets, incident reports) in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies
  • Maintaining professional boundaries and complying with agency policies
  • Providing for mandated reporting consistent with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 119,

Section 51A-51G

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum high-school degree with one year experience working with children and/or adolescents in ABA or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal, creative problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Reliability, ability to maintain confidentiality, and high degree of professionalism
