Your role:
  • Monitor team member performance to ensure they are executing assigned tasks safely, accurately, and as scheduled

  • Assign work to team members while taking into account available hours, skill sets, and other resources to ensure operational targets are met

  • Coach, counsel, and train team members to ensure competence, as well as prepare them for future opportunities

  • Set team members up for success; achieve or exceed key performance indicators, as well as safety, performance, and budget targets; record daily performance metrics

  • Promote safety in the work environment and ensure all safety rules are followed

  • Resolve equipment issues (for example, replace failed equipment or contact Maintenance)

  • Identify and assist in implementing process improvements

  • Perform other duties as required

  • You must be available to work the day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  • Demonstrated team-building skills

  • Understanding of fulfillment/distribution centre/warehouse processes and flow
