ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for the compaction of asphalt by operating the roller machine behind the paving machine to obtain the proper density and finish texture at work sites.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Operates roller machine to compress asphalt to maintain a smooth surface.
  • Assists crew in paving operations.
  • Provides day to day roller services and looks for ways to improve maintenance process or services on an ongoing basis.
  • Performs related work as assigned.
  • Follows all safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Required 3-5 years experience required.
  • Required: Manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, good physical fitness, a good sense of balance, and an ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
