As the operational leader for creative production, the Senior Manager partners with stakeholders across the university to understand business needs, translate them into actionable project plans, and ensures the creative team is equipped to deliver exceptional work that supports organizational objectives. This position also serves as a steward of brand standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all creative deliverables.
Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Production & Project Management leads the day-to-day operations of the creative production team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual assets that are on brand, on time, and on budget. This role oversees project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, workflow management, and production execution across graphic design, photography, and videography.
Success in this role is measured by the team's ability to consistently deliver high-quality creative work that meets brand standards, satisfies stakeholder expectations, and is completed on schedule and within budget. The Senior Manager demonstrates exceptional leadership by optimizing resources, improving operational processes, balancing competing priorities, and creating an environment where creative professionals can produce their best work while supporting the strategic objectives of the organization.

Required Experience
  • Four years of experience in creative operations, production management, project management, or marketing operations
  • Five years of experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with graphic design, photography, videography, and creative production workflows
  • Experience implementing and maintaining brand standards across creative deliverables
  • Experience leading, coaching and providing conflict resolution
  • Experience with project management and creative workflow platforms
Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, visual communications, business, project management, or a related field
Required Other
  • None
Additional Preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Experience leading creative operations within a corporate marketing or in-house agency environment
