POSITION: Math Teacher - Onamia Academy School Program
JOB DESCRIPTION: Onamia Public Schools - Onamia Academy (OA) is seeking a dynamic and highly energetic Math Teacher, grades 7-12 for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified candidates should have a strong background in implementing researched-based instructional strategies, equity/diversity, and meeting the needs of unique learners. Successful candidates should also be creative and have both good communication and problem solving skills.
Onamia Academy School is a care and treatment setting placed in a residential treatment facility for young males and is a public school as part of the Onamia School District. The Onamia School District is located along the south shore of beautiful Lake Mille Lacs and is one and a half hours north of Minneapolis on Highway 169.
The Onamia School District qualifies for student loan reduction/forgiveness programs.
