Middle School Math & Science Teacher – Paragon Prep

About the Role

As a Middle School Math & Science Teacher at Paragon Prep, you will help students build strong skills in mathematics, science, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Our middle school program emphasizes academic excellence, curiosity, and joyful learning while preparing students for success in honors-level high school coursework. We seek a confident, caring educator who sets high expectations, creates engaging lessons, and fosters a classroom environment where students are challenged, supported, and excited to learn.

You will also:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured math and science lessons that support student learning and growth

  • Provide personalized instruction to meet individual student needs and promote interactive learning

  • Develop and distribute educational materials such as notes, summaries, assignments, and assessments

  • Assess student progress, provide timely feedback and grades, and maintain accurate records

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and positive classroom environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success

  • Participate actively in school meetings, events, and professional development opportunities

  • Plan and facilitate dynamic educational activities both inside and outside the classroom

  • Address student behavioral concerns promptly and compassionately, reporting serious concerns as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, or a related field

  • Valid teaching certificate preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience preferred

  • Experience teaching middle school math and/or science

  • Strong knowledge of educational best practices and age-appropriate instruction

  • Excellent communication, instructional, and classroom management skills

  • Creative, energetic, and well-organized educator with high ethical standards

  • Genuine passion for teaching and supporting student growth
