SUMMARY: The Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance department personnel in maintaining facilities and equipment to increase efficiency and promote a safe work environment.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage maintenance department functions and personnel for assigned facilities

  • Coordinate preventative maintenance with production planning staff

  • Receive and review requests for maintenance and prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources

  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs; recommend equipment upgrades or modifications

  • Maintain records and documentation related to repairs made

  • Manage work of technical maintenance staff, contractors or subcontractors

  • Practice Creative Foam’s values in a positive manner at all times

  • Work overtime as required based on business needs and/or operational requirements

  • Perform all other tasks as requested and required
