Job description

Join Insignia as a Sales Director and help bring bold retail ideas to life.

We’re looking for a Sales Director with exceptional interpersonal skills who can navigate clients, retailers, and cross‑functional teams with confidence and professionalism. In this role, you’ll be our CPG brands’ strategic partner, building relationships while diving into details and insights to ensure every display project delivers exceptional results for both Insignia and our CPG and retail clients.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic consultant and relationship builder, passionate about sales, customer service, and navigating the complexity of large‑scale, creative projects. If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, enjoy collaborating across teams, and are motivated by seeing ideas move from design to reality on the retail floor, this role is for you.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Meet/exceed annual revenue targets through thoughtful, proactive client engagement
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision makers, including brand managers, retail sales teams, and agency partners
  • Drive end to end sales cycle from securing meetings, identifying needs, developing and presenting programs, through execution
  • Partner with CPG brands to identify opportunities, build the project scope, and facilitate the program through the Insignia project stages as well as retail milestones
  • Understand the competitive landscape of both design agencies and display manufacturing and effectively differentiate the Insignia approach & value
  • Ensure long term retention of existing accounts through customer service and strategic planning
  • Become a retailer expert for your clients. Understanding and educating clients on retailer guidelines, routes to market, and the in‑store landscape to ensure they are set‑up for success
  • Partner with Insignia cross functional teams to ensure successful execution of client programs
  • Identify new client opportunities, outreach, and build relationships
How to know if you’re a fit:
  • Customer‑focused with strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Process‑driven yet adaptable in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities across varying stages
  • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proactive self‑starter who can pivot with minimal disruption
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

At Insignia, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative, innovative, and growth‑minded culture where every team member plays a key role in driving success. As a Sales Director, you’ll not only shape high‑impact retail experiences but also contribute to a team that values creativity, accountability, and client partnership. If you’re ready to take on challenging, dynamic projects and build your career with a company at the forefront of in‑store marketing, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help us transform ideas into experiences that connect shoppers with brands.
